Polikor K — 360 is an amine preaccelerated, maximum reactivity, DCPD based unsaturated polyester resin with medium flexibility. In conjunction with benzoyl peroxide paste as hardener, it permits the manufacture of putty and filling compounds which will readily harden even at low temperature conditions (down to 5C). As a sole binder for polyester putties, it has excellent sanding and adhesion properties. Despite its high amine content, the resin has outstanding storage stability. Polikor K — 360 has been specially designed for the manufacture of polyester putties. Since Polikor K 360 contains some built — in — amine as accelerator, it also acts as a promotor for cobalt / hydroperoxide polyester systems. Thus Polikor K 360 may be added to such resins to accelerate hardening and curing if the yellowing caused by amine may be tolerated.
